Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: A little woody dryness then chocolate, coconut, marzipan. Some glueiness and menthol.
Palate: Thin and drying. Cough candy. Cinnamon. Cloves. Toasted coconut. Sandalwood.
Finish: Seemingly short, but, just when you think it's all over, a long, lingering, Fino infused finish.
Comment: For the end of the evening. Of considerable complexity and will require several attempts before it's cracked. Not for everyone.

Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: Estery, salty and fruity (peach slices and baked apples). With water up comes fennel, satsuma and melon. Also a husky, gristy character.
Palate: Fruity, tingly and lightly peaty.
Finish: Dry and biscuity.
Comment: A pleasant and balanced malt with a definite island character, but given the choice available from this great distillery, it pales.
