Tasting notes
Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: This started curiously, like the underside of a sheepskin rug, mushrooms and a little wood-glue. It soon settled down and fruity notes appeared, freshly cut red grapes, lemon, and sweet warmed bread.
Palate: Lemony with malty breadiness.
Finish: Relatively short, and a little sweet soap.
Comment: Had potential, but a shame to see such a poor cask bottled.
6.0
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Wet and slightly burnt grass. Daffodils that have stood in water for too long. Cereal. Wet wood. With water very plain with a light plastic note. Flowers underneath.
Palate: Very dry and austere...not letting anything out.
Finish: Grubby. An old cellar.
Comment: If this was in a better cask it would have been a rather pleasant whisky.
