Tasting notes
Taster   Bethany Whymark
Nose: Notably herbal at first with dill, coriander, parsley, and courgette fried in butter. Then milk loaf, vanilla fudge, and apple with salted caramel sauce. Honeyed chamomile.
Palate: Light bodied. Vanilla crème brûlée, toffee shortbread, creamy oatmeal, macadamia nut, and milk chocolate. Clove, cinnamon, and caraway.
Finish: Medium, on oatmeal, dried apple, and cinnamon.
Comment: Enough complexity here to keep things interesting.

Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Funky at first, like over-ripe, browning red apple and ricotta cheese. This dissipates with air, leaving a distinctive honey note. Under that, it’s sliced pear, almond powder, and mandarin.
Palate: Medium-light. Greek yoghurt over orange segments, pear and red apple. Pecan, sesame, maple syrup, candied citrus peel, and walnut loaf.
Finish: Medium. Ends on walnut and poppy seed.
Comment: A textbook Speysider with a little extra weight.
