Taster Sara Smith
Nose: Sweet, dark wood, sherry, fruit, honey, and caramelised brown sugar with a hint of salt. Slightly minty notes, herbal peppermint tea, and a touch of pineapple.
Palate: Savoury, with a pleasant, fiery texture. Notes of puffed rice, vanilla, cream crackers, and a leafiness. Fades to a dry, bonfire smokiness.
Finish: Creamy vanilla, butter, rice cakes, interrupted by more perfumed floral notes and chives. This all settles onto comforting notes of pipe tobacco.
Comment: A flavourful whisky that is fresh, invigorating, and indulgent without being too heavy.
