Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Sherry. Christmas cake. Some of the dried fruit has burned in the oven.
Palate: Malty. Buttery. Aslice of Wensleydale cheese. On top of the cake.
Finish: Slightly woody bitterness. Late saltiness.
Comment: Very satisfying flavours.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Late autumn. Dry oak, firm and quite earthy with rooty/smouldering peat calf. Tweed. Has good depth and a slightly obscured sweetness. Seems old.
Palate: A peaty start, then the smoke lifts and allows some honey and fudge in along with old dried peels. Becomes progressively oaky.
Finish: A bit tannic.
Comment: Seems like a very old whisky with strange exotic flavours.
