Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: A little like wandering into a big stationary cupboard: packets of rubber bands, glue sticks and a minerally metallic note (staples). Also chocolate coated hazelnuts.
Palate: Oak and peat notes start to build to give a very sweet and savoury hit - Chai tea made with on an open wood stove.
Finish: Long and drying with plenty of peat coming into play.
Comment: A decent dram with plenty of interply between the peat and oak.

Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Toasted chocolate notes, a little creosote/tar, thick rubber bands, burnt sugar, walnuts and vanilla.
Palate: Slightly rubberised, but not over powering, into a peaty note with sour cream and strong, over brewed tea.
Finish: Lingering dry notes and a waft of peat.
Comment: Solid enough, with a nice peaty backbone to it.
