Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Buttery. Butterscotch. A slight lactic notes. Clean dairy parlour.
Palate: Sweet, velvety. Fresh oak, Shortcake. Toffee. A hint of toasted hazelnut.
Finish: Clean, in the same tonality as the palate. Fudge.
Comment: A well balanced dram. A bit unidimensional but nothing wrong with it. Water dilutes the aromas too much.
7.3
Taster   Dominic Roskrow
Nose: A pleasant dessert nose, with soft banana toffee and butterscotch.
Palate: Ripe fruit, some pronounced tannin notes, apple pips.
Finish: Quite short.Sweet at first but then astringent tannins kick in late on.
Comment: Nothing wrong with this, but a blend perhaps overawed in the company.
