Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Clotted cream kicks off a very complex nose. A little nutty with some maltnotes. Almost a green feel to it, a grass edge, dried herbs.
Palate: Thick and coating. The creamy notes come through with a poached pearand custard edge.
Finish: Sweet and dry.
Comment: Great nose but it does not follow through. That said a very restorativedram for cold nights.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy and malty. Camomile. Malt flour. Butterscotch. Chestnut purée.
Palate: Oily and rich. Coats the palate. A faint sweetness then a spicy kick. The alcohol bites the tongue. Aniseed. Fennel and a touch of mint.
Finish: Warm. spicy. dry.
Comment: That whisky definitely needs water to cut the edges. Incredibly oily. Witha good dash of water, refreshing and invigorating.
