Taster Mark NewtonNose:
Attractive yet unusual. Sandalwood smoke, resinous, with citrus, syrup and ginger. Apricots, sultanas, mango, pine, before dried tea and honey. Palate:
Slightly unbalanced – ashy smoke, a nice maltiness, with fudge, caramel, bitter coffee. Woody, too, with hints of dried fruits. It’s effective and pleasant. Finish:
Long, warming, with the ginger, sandalwood and cloves not quite meshing. Comment:
A ton of character, charm and individuality - which is rare these days.
