Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy and smoky. Bonfire on a wet day. Damp straw. Bog myrtle. Wet sandand shells. In time, vanilla swirls up with lemonade to bring in a sweet touch. With water, freshly squeezed lemon.
Palate: Sweet and crisp. Lemon sherbet, hints of lemon grass. The smoke keepsmainly backstage.
Finish: Lingering, soothing on marzipan.
Comment: A wonderful freshener on a warm summer day, citrussy and smokierthan phenolic.
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Initially closed then this marine character wakes up. Damp embers, bracken, samphire. A citrus edge lurks after a while.
Palate: The smoke comes at the end after citrus sweets, lemon drops andorange sherberts.
Finish: Long with lemon drizzle cake.
Comment: Another great outdoors dram to pep the spirits up.
