Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Very aromatic, Gingersnap biscuits, custard tars with nutmeg spice, Bay Rum, a faint citrus note as well, camomile lotion.
Palate: Now those spices are really coming through, chilli rice crackers, chicory, cardamon and spiced apple sauce.
Finish: Crisp and clean with some spices lingering on.
Comment: An interesting approach and flavour profile.

Taster Neil Ridley

Nose: Masses of dry ginger, nutmeg and lemon balm. The second sniff reveals musk, spice rubbed steak and masculine gents aftershave notes. Is this a whisky?
Palate: The palate is spice laden, peppery, aromatic and warming, with an over powering spiciness and spirit.
Finish: Extremely short, with a touch of dried ginger.
Comment: Not unpleasant, but just too far removed from the (already vastly cavernous) flavour profile whisky has.
