Tasting notes
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Trademark malty, grassy simplicity, with an extra dollop of vanilla oakiness for depth.
Palate: Sweet and spicy with a biscuity, doughy firmness.
Finish: Sweet finale, lacking complexity. Demerara sweetness wins through.
Comment: A very pleasant dram which shows Cardhu in its usual ultra-genteel light. Hardly complex, but a delightful dram from first to last.
7.5
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Faint peat-smoke fragrance. Flowery. Greengage fruitiness. Custard.
Palate: Lively, very sweet, fresh marshmallow, crystallised fruit.
Finish: Light, dryish, tangerine-like, refreshing.
Comment: For teatime - more fun than Darjeeling.
7.5
