Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Perfumy. Herbal. Vegetal.
Palate: Starts softly and sweetly, then explodes with flavours. Camomile, lemon grass, anise, fennel. Very spicy.
Finish: Very dry. Intense.
Comment: This is how Lowlanders used to be: drier, more herbal, more complex. Buy now, while stocks last.
8.3
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Touches of tobacco, waxed floors, hessian, then brazil nut, cooked fruit and tinned peach. Mature.
Palate: Sweet, rounded, mixing a silky feel with light fruits, flowers and some fresh nuttiness. It hits a perfect balance between delicacy and substance.
Finish: A hint of smoke.
Comment: You don't have to have masses of peat or sherry to make a malt interesting. The best of these Lowlanders show that. Try them!
