Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Lemon peel on a cake.
Palate: Dry, drying. Darjeeling tea. Ginger cake. Restrained. A little lacking in complexity.
Finish: Big, long, lively, gingery, spicy.
Comment: The flavours seem to be held back, then suddenly released. This whisky might have been less inhibited at a younger age.
7.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Medium rich. Polished oak, chestnut purée, butter, cake, chocolate chip cookie.
Palate: Very nutty. Hazelnut spread, chestnut. Soft and sweet with dundee cake sweetness towards the back.
Finish: Orange peel. Chocolate.
Comment: Attractive but slightly flabby.
