Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Faint hint of peat. Cinnamon. Dusty liquorice.
Palate: Full flavours. Spicy. Liquorice root. Anis.
Finish: Cough sweets. Smokiness (again, just a hint).
Comment: Carries its age effortlessly. Approachable, clean, sweet-tempered. Unlike The Singleton version, no obvious sherry.
8.3
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Gentle, spicy and attractive. Cereal/bran, nutmeg, allspice, dried lavender, vanilla. Malty.
Palate: Clean and sweet with water. Still some floral notes (dried). Apple, dry grass. Has a slightly hard, woody, edge towards the finish.
Finish: Nutty. Long.
Comment: Delightful nose, palate pretty firm.
