Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Rather dumb nose. Green rhubarb, ripe apple, turned earth, cream toffee. With water there's soft white fruit, green apple, pear drops.
Palate: High alcohol with a light caramelised quality. Ripe pear and apple. Cocoa powder. Crisps up, with a firm. Cognac-like grip. Perfumed with a silky feel.
Finish: Very light, clean, hint of mint.
Comment: Good, but a tad reserved.

Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: Ham and green apples with a minerally quality. Plums, lemon rind and exhaust pipes. With water a little thyme, meadow flowers and phenols.
Palate: Sweet then sour and a little bitter. Gooseberries and raspberries.
Finish: Light bitterness and American oak tannins.
Comment: I couldn't decide if this lacked a little, or was just subtle. Pleasing enough, aging with prettiness, but didn't do enough for me.
