Tasting notes
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Nutty sweetness, like an almond and caramel Dime Bar, and fresh chocolate doughnuts with fruitier notes of rich apple juice or perhaps premium dark French cider.
Palate: Medium bodied, with moderate sweetness from fruit pastilles, banoffee pie, and chocolate-coated cereal notes.
Finish: Long and nutty, with waves of walnut cream and milk chocolate, and lovely hints of nutmeg.
Comment: A soft and mellow whisky with complex fruit flavours and an impressive lack of abrasiveness.

Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Full on dairy chocolate milkshake, the one that has ice cream in it and makes you need a sit-down after. Then Florentine biscuits, sourdough toast, vanilla fudge, and cinnamon spice.
Palate: More of that vanilla (this time it’s custard), cinnamon and nutmeg warmth, raisin rye bread, and a drizzle of caramel to finish.
Finish: A fair amount of sweetness lingering on from the vanilla and caramel notes.
Comment: This has got to be a chocolate lover’s dream whisky.
