Tasting notes
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: A mix of fruity and savoury. Cranberry and cola bottle, oyster sauce and brown bread. Damson plum and sticky toffee pudding. Chocolate sauce.
Palate: Medium bodied, slightly oily. Plum jam and milk chocolate-coated raisins. Toffee cake and candied red apple. Delicate almond butter on medjool dates. Subtle nutmeg and double cream. Some orange oils lurking.
Finish: Long. As the nuttiness subsides, the date and orange oils linger.
Comment: Well integrated, well balanced, well done.

Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Rich and tangy orange peel, then dried apricot and cedar. Delightful smooth vanilla cream, like a choux bun. Sweet green peppers, lavender and salty pork.
Palate: Rich salted pork chops on the barbeque, with a honey glaze. Gorgeous richness of hazelnut chocolate, prunes and dates. Cinnamon spice that prickles the tongue.
Finish: Medium. Tingling heat and more of that chocolatey nuttiness.
Comment: This is simply lovely. It packs a punch with the heat, but not so much that you lose the enjoyment of the flavour.
