Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Really quite juicy with tonnes of tropical fruit but all wrapped up in a hessian sack. Two of the three Js from Dundee: Jute and Jam.
Palate: The wood here is integrated very well indeed with the spirit and provides a launchpad for the most delicate of fruits (pineapple, coconut and papaya) without anything being too powerful.
Finish: The papaya takes a step forward, followed by green banana and finally the drying oak.
Comment: Really very nice indeed. Maybe could have done with being at 42 or 43% ABV.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Quite mature and oily aromas with a little fragrant oak and barley. A good dollop of stewed fruit follows along with hints of lime, apple and vanilla.
Palate: Oily and barley with drying tannins, coffee and stewed fruit. Mature and lightly earthy with some balancing, creamy, slightly sawdusty American oak.
Finish: Good length with the light honey balancing the drier oak notes.
Comment: Gentle and mature. The perfect dram, to unwind after a hard day at the office!
