Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: The aromatic quality has changed. Now fruitier with darker spices coming forward. Almost a red grape skin tone.
Palate: So sweet it almost hurts your teeth. Like someone has added demerasugar to a fruit tea.
Finish: Spiced and long.
Comment: Again has moved the original into a different dimension.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Overtly sweet and scented. Jammy. Some plum pudding. Sweet yoghurt/energy bar, blackcurrant leaf. Light clove, allspice and dried citrus peels. The grassiness has gone.
Palate: Very sweet and like it is flirting with liqueur territory. Ponche. Damson jamand very scented still.
Finish: An exotic boudoir.
Comment: Lochnagar can cope with sherry but for me this is just too sweet.
