Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Perfumy maltiness. Fragrant smoke. What the nose promises, the palate delivers.
Palate: Silky. Very full flavours, but very light on their feet. It is the interplay and dexterity that captivates. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers? Billie Holiday and Lester Young?
Finish: Dry, oaky, more-ish.
Comment: A work of craftsmanship, elegance and its own style.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Slightly shy to start. Subtle notes of dried mushroom (cep), casks, dried flowers, graphite, bitter orange, tea caddy tobacco leaf. Ever-changing and mature.
Palate: Dry and elegant. Seems fragile and old but with real character, then a startling orange lift and a tickle of smoke.
Finish: Dried peels and nuts.
Comment: Fragile but fascinating.
