Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Bow rosin, pine forests, like opening a violin case. Raisin bread, vanilla custard. Sweet candied nuts, maple pecans.
Palate: Candy floss sweetness, cream cakes, a cinnamon spiced edge and toasted caraway seeds.
Finish: Dries with those spices holding court.
Comment: Intriguing stuff, one to take your time over and explore.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Unusual. Pine resin. Vanilla swirls up on time. With a fruity note; quite sweet. Gets slightly nutty.
Palate: Sweet and velvety. Vanilla syrup. Hint of Victoria plums and fresh pineapple. Touch of lime zest. Drying on spices.
Finish: Dry and spicy. Gingery.
Comment: The first nose is unusual and takes you to pine forests. Then the fruit character unwinds. Water releases a cardboard note. I like the spiciness and bouncyp rofile of this whisky.
