Tasting notes
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: A mercurial fruit salad, sharp, tangy, and mouth-watering yet soft and pulpy.
Palate: Harder rye notes chiselling into the soft oak.
Finish: Long and with a coffee/cocoa bitterness.
Comment: As far as America's straight ryes go, simply peerless!
9.3
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Toffeeish, with some spicy and fruity notes.
Palate: On the light side. Attenuated. Light and lively.
Finish: Very gingery.
Comment: A new, or revived, rye is wonderful news, even if this one is a trifle sophisticated for my robust tastes.
