Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Very complex yet subtle. A hard rye edge tempered with drying leaves, dark fruits, blackberries and melted dark chocolate.
Palate: Bags of flavour explode on the palate, fruit, citrus and of course rye. The oak wants to dominate but this is all about rye.
Finish: Restful and relaxed as more toffee notes come through.
Comment: A great wind down in the evening.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Shows an interesting mix of warm leatherette, dry oak, violet and Fry's chocolate créme (ie mint and high cocoa solid chocolate) and autumn leaves. Balanced spiciness where cinnamon is now dominating. Still some dusty rye in there. Dilute there's unripe wi
Palate: Good control here. Lots of dried citrus peels. The wood (cedary) is grippy, but the rye seems to muscle it aside.
Finish: Lots of sweetened spices.
Comment: More of a sipper than a cocktail rye.
