Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Heathery. Oak, light peat, damson jam. Lavender honey dripping off hot buttered toast. Water brings out sweet almond, orange and cumin.
Palate: Sweet and honeyed with balancing oak and a long unctuous feel. Leather and caramelised notes.
Finish: Tablet and a tickle of smoke.
Comment: Fantastic balance. One for sweet-toothed drinkers.
8.5
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Spicy and fruity. Half dried apricots in cinnamon. Hazelnuts.
Palate: Round and sweet. Fruit gives way to a nutty spiciness.
Finish: Rather short. Cinnamon lingers on.
Comment: Good integration of wood and malt. A very decent dram.
