Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Very soft with a floral edge from distant sea pinks and salt marsh plants. A little sweetness too comes from grilled nectarines and soft peppermint.
Palate: Salted caramel ice cream and wafers. Bags of chilli prawns and lightly smoked fish.
Finish: Waves of spices hit home and the chilli heat and prickle starts to rise. There’s cardamom and cumin lurking here too.
Comment: A belter despite its ABV. Don’t let the low strength fool you, this is punchy and full of flavour.
8.8
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: A bag full of foam bananas, cola fizzy bottles, apricot sherbet and mint imperials. Buttery notes of almond croissants and ginger loaf peeking through from the background.
Palate: Creamy, creamy, creamy nonsense. Followed by a spice box of turmeric, cumin and crushed star anise with added notes of black liquorice and kirsch.
Finish: Nutty spices dominate the finish with a creamy consistency.
Comment: A special kind of pick ‘n’ mix. Sweet, spicy and savoury all in one.
