Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Firm 'grainy', grassy with some roast almond. Water accentuates the firmness and brings out some juicy/oily qualities. Gets bigger in time but always dry.
Palate: Dry and sweet at the same time. The soft gentle grain does play its part, but overall this is a big whisky with a firm structure.
Finish: Surprisingly sweet.
Comment: This has personality, weight and is the most tightly focused of the bunch.
7.8
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Sweet. Aromatic.
Palate: Surprisingly heavy-bodied. Creamy-tasting. Vanilla.
Finish: Soothing. Late medicinal note.
Comment: Very rich for a grain whisky. Not much dimension. No flavour peaks.
