Tasting notes
Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Malted chocolate milkshake, gravy browning, some toasted coconut andvery intense cocoa powder.
Palate: Tinned peaches, passion fruit, and a host of tropical flavours all explode onthe palate, without the slightest hint of them on the nose. With a dash of water, blackcurrant and sweetened cream come to the fore.
Finish: Dry oak, with a touch of the toasted coconut on the death.
Comment: A strangely closed nose, with a very vibrant, fruit driven palate.
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Sweet almost scented candle wax, red lace sweets, rye notes, warmed yeast, Thai rice cakes, milk chocolate, becomes quite floral after a while.
Palate: Heavy alcohol at first then a sweetness comes through. Very jam like warmed rye bread with treacle. Water helps amplify this.
Finish: Very short and sweet.
Comment: Big and bold but that alcohol needs taming to get the best out of it
