Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Very shy and light at first, quite delicate. Eventually there are jelly babies, fruit sweets and orange blossom.
Palate: Again gentle at first with some rye like notes lurking. Then spiced plum jam and soft fruits.
Finish: The spices arrive and an alcohol bite.
Comment: Seems to be focused on that big finish.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Light but spirity. Floral and grassy. Freshly cut lawn. Clean linen. A touch of linseed oil. In time cream soda and lemonade. Orange drop.
Palate: Satin-like. Oily and sweet at first but the alcohol bite dries the palate. Water cuts the edges but dilutes the flavours.
Finish: Quickly fading.
Comment: The nose is pleasant but the alcohol makes it too sharp. The same with the palate. The cask has not mellowed it enough.
