Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy. Lemon balm, angelica, meadowsweet flowers. Opening on cereals. Oatmeal biscuits. And on vanilla. With a touch of tangerine juice.
Palate: Smooth, thick, caressing. Stewed fruit in vanilla then a spicy outburst and dry at midpalate. Ginger biscuits. Water kills the enjoyment.
Finish: Dry, spicy, lingering.
Comment: Delicate and 'whispering'

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: A little dumb and not as effusive as you would ideally wish from this age. Some dry grasses/raffia, hints of crisp oak, privet clippings.
Palate: Another one which is quite discreet on the tongue - some charred notes from the cask. The spirit is intense, lemon accented with a crisp maltiness.
Finish: Sharp and short.
Comment: A little underwhelming.
