Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense, oaky. With a sour fruity note. Cider apple. Slightly waxy. Oak is prevailing but slowly steps aside to let sweeter notes show through.
Palate: Crisp and light. Less oak than expected. The same apple and vanilla notes as on the nose. Some Turkish delight too.
Finish: Soft, fading quickly.
Comment: An enticing oldie. But I bet it was in a better shape a few years ago.
8.2
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Engaging with a cherry edge. Layers open slowly revealing creamy oak then lush toffee notes.
Palate: Refreshing with a hit of apple pie and custard. Almost a milk chocolate androse water note too.
Finish: Mellow and gentle.
Comment: A fine example of an aged grain.
