Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Floral rather than fruity, there is also a deep sweetness on which the malt hangs.
Palate: A momentary dryness is washed away with an incredible wave of honeyed sweetness.
Finish: The finish is drier, quite toasty and with a late arrival of slightly burnt honeycomb-chocolate.
Comment: A typical Perthshire-style honey-ball. Perhaps too sweet for some palates but it holds its age brilliantly.
8.5
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Fresh, herbal. Clover and honey. Creamy.
Palate: Light, clean, grassy. A hint of straw.
Finish: Flowery dryness, quite drying.
Comment: Rounder than a previous Signatory bottling at 1972.
7.8
