Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Buttery sweetness. Rum. Bananas. Is this the 'sherry' of South Africa or the whin of the Highlands? I am not sure.
Palate: Banana liqueur. Then smoky, like a pancake that has burned slightly.
Finish: Soothing, caramel-ish, with some leafy spiciness.
Comment: A very unusual expression of Clynelish.
7.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Smoky. Some waxiness and a grapey note as well. Madeira cask like in its charred dry notes.
Palate: Better than the nose, sweet and rich and coats the mouth. Another which is all feel. The singed note comes back towards the finish.
Finish: A little dirty?
Comment: At the risk of being pedantic are you allowed to call it South African sherry?
