Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Chewy, soft and cuddly. Ovaltine, hot cross bun, coconut, green fruit/olive oil, light smoke, sulphur.
Palate: Fairly dry but attractive mix of chewy malt, nut and light oiliness. Good texture with some white fruit, dry edges and a wisp of smoke running through the centre.
Finish: Sweet.
Comment: Good everyday kind of dram.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Resiny. Lemon skins. Leafy. Boiled potatoes. Earthy.
Palate: Creamy. Vegetal. Sweet. Parsnips?
Finish: Slightly sour. Grassy. With water, a late, sudden, hint of peat.
Comment: I'm glad still to be able to taste a whisky from this long-gone distillery, but it's really one for the collectors.
