Tasting notes
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Dairy farm with hay, a dusty barn on a sunny day. Fresh cream and sherried hints. A freshly baked loaf, hazelnuts, and fresh fruit salad with melon and apple.
Palate: More of that hay loft, apple tart with purée and crisp pastry. Earthy forest floor, heather and light runny honey. Clove spice and fresh melon cutting through the heat.
Finish: Short to medium with heather and clove heat lingering.
Comment: Relatively subtle throughout, but nicely balanced.
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Cream soda and raspberry sauce, with pink wafer biscuit and Victoria sponge. Limeade and kiwi. Fresh strawberries and sour cream. A little hay.
Palate: Medium-light bodied. Sweet fruits and candied elements are well integrated with the vanilla and biscuit notes in here.
Finish: Short and vanilla focussed, with a little of that kiwi lingering.
Comment: A walk on the lighter side.
