Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Light. Floral. Carnation. Fruity. Watermelon. Lime juice.
Palate: Satin-like. Elegant and complex. Turkish delight. A touch of fresh cereals. Almond and pear tart.
Finish: Fades rather quickly but gently. Very clean and refreshing. Ginger in the back.
Comment: A delicate and complex dram. Better neat. Would rather play with Brahms than Wagner.
7.7
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Dusty with some alcohol. A little biscuity then a soft spread of gingerbread like fruitiness, some sultana and barley.
Palate: Pear-like. Has impact, but the flavours don’t seem fixed. Pure with some soft weight.
Finish: Gentle and clean.
Comment: There was so little in these last three samples that it’s hard to truly discern the whisky’s real qualities (or to retaste it, as is normal practise).
