Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Perfumy, grassy. Peaty. Smoked dry hay. Meadowsweet flowers. Nutty.Praline and nougat.
Palate: Oily, velvety. Luscious smooth sweetness. Smoky. Pears in vanilla syrup. Peaches. Rich, creamy. With water, a fresh citrus note (lime).
Finish: Dry and crisp, spicy with a lovely almond aftertaste (blancmange).
Comment: Unusual profile for a... Bn ! Very interesting though. The perfect companion to a cheese and fruit plate.
8.2
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Rather vegetal - preparing a Burn's supper: turnip peel and cooking kale.A general freshness behind.
Palate: Much better than the nose. Good soft spread of flavours. Agave syrup, cream soda and ginger with that sulphur just jagging up towards the finish.
Finish: Cereal.
Comment: The nose is off-putting.
