Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Warm and sweet with some floral elements.Smoke is like an autumnal bonfire, leafy and sweet.
Palate: The sweetness hits first then a good blast of smoke.The oak makes an appearance but is lost in the smoke.
Finish: Short but leaves a burning leaf note.
Comment: A great warmer on a cold day. Another well balanced number.

Taster Martine Nouet

Nose: Grassy, smoky. Bonfire dying under a light drizzle. Refreshing and cheerful. Vanilla syrup. Hint of honeysuckle. Cider apple.
Palate: Sweet at first. Then the dry smoke tightens the flavours. Sooty and dusty.
Finish: Dry, sooty.
Comment: A morning uplifter. To be enjoyed with cream and porridge on a dricht day !
