Tasting notes
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: Ripe orange and zesty pomello, followed by plum soaked in coffee liqueur. Well worn leather gloves and espresso sweetened with muscovado.
Palate: The flavours echo the nose, toasted grist, warm leather, Seville orange. Red currant, cranberry and membrillo paste. Traces of sulphur emerge.
Finish: Quite dry but opens well with water.
Comment: A little like kissing someone after smoking a cigar.

Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Sweaty, cheesy, this is like the changing room of a sumo wrestler. Some parchment and soy notes. Very savoury.
Palate: Struck match, a hint of wallnut bread and over ripe banana. This is a mouthfilling whisky but not quite in the right way.
Finish: Copper and blood orange.
Comment: This one is not really to my taste.
