Tasting notes
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Soft supple barley and white fruit aromas with a good dollop of honey. Fresh, herbal grain comes through along with sweet coconut and toasty oak.
Palate: Very grain dominated with dried fruit and coconutty oak. The heavy oak begins to bitter but a touch of honey and barley attempts to balance.
Finish: Crisp and remaining grainy with lingering chocolate, coconut, and coffee notes.
Comment: A pleasant blend, although I would have liked to have seen some malt character on the palate.

Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: A slightly agricultural nose that reminds me of trips to see Armagnac distillation. It’s rare but real, and quite inviting. Lots going on, well integrated.
Palate: A fine palate that is oily and rich, but struggles to find a direction. At times sweet, at times spicy.
Finish: Oak, then suddenly black pepper.
Comment: Not for me, but you can tell there are good intentions.
