Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense, spicy. Rich toffee. Stewed apples. A sour note. Cider apples. A rye aromatic profile. Enticing. But obviously young.
Palate: Lovely flowing texture like raw silk. The rye flavours explode. Fruit and spice. A hint of chocolate.
Finish: Dry, spicy, lingering.
Comment: A pleasant rye whisky.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Well, this ain't shy and retiring. An immediate hit of floral scents, dusty roses and lime zest. Becomes slightly dusty, suggestive of rye.
Palate: Sweet and intense with a herbal note akin to a red vermouth. Lots of spiced cherries.
Finish: Hot and a little short.
Comment: Good spirit -but please keep it in cask for longer.
