Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Floral up front, lavender and cherry blossom, fresh daffodils and snow drops. Almond pastries with apricot jam, A meaty edge, air dried ham and sundried tomato. Wood tannins.
Palate: That floral leading edge continues followed by the meat. Then huge spices develop, cardamom, cinnamon, then everything ends on Parma Violets.
Finish: Really oily and coating with those Parma Violets and cherry lips sweetie.
Comment: Very yummy stuff indeed. So heady at first with those floral notes it really is a treat.

Taster Sam Coyne

Nose: Vanilla up front– but than lashings of flambé fruit. A little acetone and those fruit-salad sweet chews. Apricots, cherries. Yum.
Palate: Big ol' spices welcome you in, before the fruit-salad rears its head in the background. A slightly oily mouthfeel.
Finish: More of those fruit-salad chews, but becomes cleansing with a herbal, menthol finish.
Comment: A little surprising, but might not appeal to the purists. Not hugely layered or complex, but pretty tasty and sometimes that's okay.
