Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Hot with alcohol, with a sweet lemon drop nose. Quite acidic as well. As it opens notes of hot rabbit hutches. Has decent concentration.
Palate: Penetrating and alcoholic. Mix of dusty cereal (malt bins) and some fruit pastille, then like England's midfield it collapses in the centre. Lacks harmony.
Finish: Short.
Comment: The overriding impression is of young whiskies released too soon.
6.8
Taster   Ian Buxton
Nose: Sweets, gum, ripe fruits.
Palate: Assertive but not actively unpleasant.
Finish: Chewy.
Comment: Showing some promise. Might develop with age.
6.5
