Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Minerally. A hint of sulphur.
Palate: Quite rich. Nutty, with a suggestion of artichoke. A touch of salt, then a burst of freshly milled pepper.
Finish: Volcanic. Reverberating.
Comment: Less instantly explosive than the regular 10. The flavours in the 25 are more tightly combined and take longer to unfold. You pays your money...

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Robust with plenty of scented smoke (burning heather) balanced by soft Dundee cake/singed orange peel aromas.
Palate: Full and ripe to start, plenty of mellow fruits (sultana, date, fig) then an explosion of dry smoke. A complex mouthful.
Finish: Long, complex, dry peppery heather root
Comment: The distillery character sings out. A muscular, smoky yet rounded malt. Superb.
