Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Waxy. Beewax. Cider apple. Dry almond. Distant peat. Hint of phenols. Damp wood. The phenolic notes slowly rise up.
Palate: Dry and crisp. Quite bitter. Earthy and peaty. The fruit notes from the nose are absent.
Finish: Dry, spicy, almondy.
Comment: Lacks expression when neat. Water tones the bitterness down and releases a refreshing minty whiff.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Subtle peat notes. Hints of salt and seaweed. Almost buttery chocolate with a little red fruit.
Palate: A pleasant drying quality leaving peat, spiced wood and a sweetness. Some salt right at the end.
Finish: Short and crisp.
Comment: Seems quite shy at first but a little drop of water helps it open up.
