Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Perfumy. Sweet.Butterscotch. A touch of creosote. Distant smoke.
Palate: Oily. Smooth. Mouthcoating. Velvety. Sweet herbal tea.
Finish: Sweet, a bit soft.
Comment: A pleasant dram but it does have the expected nerve. Alcohol is perfectly mastered though. But one could expect better from a 30 Year Old Talisker. It does not taste like Talisker.
7.6
Taster   Dominic Roskrow
Nose: Fluffy apple. Lemon aspirin. Doughball.
Palate: Vegetal, woody, with oil and smoke and a salty tangy after-taste.
Finish: Grungey, with salt and pepper.
Comment: Doesn't taste this old, doesn't taste like Talisker. Doesn't reach this distillery's greatest heights.
6.5
