Tasting notes
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Dundee cake, pineapple upside-down cake, and then Nutella on white toast. Apple strudel with vanilla ice cream.
Palate: Medium. Custard over red berry pie. Chocolate butter icing and tarte tatin. Delicate hazelnut milk notes, then Tunnock’s macaroons.
Finish: Medium. On marshmallow and milk chocolate notes.
Comment: Oodles of confection and fruit.

Taster   Bethany Whymark
Nose: Floral orange and rose notes. Blackberry, fig, cinnamon stick, unblanched almond, vanilla sugar, Parma violet, old leather, and cappuccino foam. Hints of thyme and waxy cheese.
Palate: Full. Sticky toffee pudding, date, raisin, and almond butter. Grilled-cheese sandwich and yeast extract. Spiced rooibos tea, fresh clementine, and whipped vanilla cream.
Finish: Medium-long, on dark chocolate, Brazil nut, and fresh mint.
Comment: Lovely layering of flavours.
