Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Cinder toffee pieces, chocolate coated caramel pennies, fresh sliced apple and honey. Black forest gateaux. Opening a mahogany grand piano, highly polished notes of beeswax and lacquer.
Palate: Soft and gentle at first, runny honey but not clingy sweetness. That black forest gateaux comes back.
Finish: That orange sherbet note takes the finish right to the end. Plenty of maple syrup sweetness too.
Comment: A great dram, that long lovely finish is intense, tannin laden and just wonderful really.
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Marzipan, rum 'n' raisin fudge and banana pancakes with wisps of peach yoghurt and dried apricots. Stewed rhubarb, strawberries, cinnamon and ice cream Chewits.
Palate: Strawberries, ripe banana skin and baked red apples drizzled with almond milk and shavings of white chocolate. Toasted pistachios, marzipan and butter icing.
Finish: Light and airy with a buttery consistency that creates the lovely length.
Comment: A fully loaded fruit basket.
