Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Citrus notes abound. Very delicate with plenty of blossom, honey and golden syrup.
Palate: Clotted cream fudge with a hint of grainy oak. Dutch vanilla syrup waffles. Strawberries and cream with just a kick of black pepper too.
Finish: Warm, peppery and quite swift.
Comment: Has a certain youthful swagger to it. A good starting point to build from.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sweet and light. Lots of vanilla. Lemonade. A shy touch of orange blossom.
Palate: Sweet, with the same vanilla syrupy note. Rather cloying. Some fresh oak. Hint of tablet. Drying on gentle spices.
Finish: Spicy and short.
Comment: Not an unpleasant whisky but there is not much to explore. Water brings out more sweetness. Might shine through in cocktails really well.
