Tasting notes
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Pancakes with lemon and white sugar, chopped red apples and creamy kefir, with chopped apricot, heather and allspice.
Palate: Creamy apricot yoghurt, amber and brandy-covered sultanas, mincemeat and heather honey, followed by cloves.
Finish: Quite delicate, with a brandy apple note and peppermint and liquorice tea.
Comment: Quite a delicate sip, but with enough punch to give it some character.
7.6
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Grassy and rather ephemeral. Pencil shavings and a touch of ripe kiwi. Rosehip oil. Pear drop. Crème caramel.
Palate: Very light bodied. Vanilla essence and custard cream biscuit. A little red apple and rice paper.
Finish: Short and sweet, with vanilla dominating.
Comment: Goes down easily, but quite one-dimensional.
